Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea....

If I was invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, I’d seriously think of not showing up.

For years, America was lectured, and rightfully so, to lay off the President’s kid. The offsprings of the Commander-in Chief are and always should be off limits.

Chelsea is now a woman, according to some print publications, a woman that has blossomed into “hot” status. I’m pretty sure that means she is now fair game.

What a selfish boob.

She‘s getting married. Did you hear? Fine. While you generally throw the wedding you want, you still, and I think 99% of couples forget this, think about your guests first.

Chelsea, it’s being reported, is a vegan and has been since her teens. Makes sense. She saw the Bubba gorging on fat on top of fat for years growing up. And she has a gluten allergy. So…..

Vegan menu at her wedding and a gluten-free wedding cake.

Wrong, Chelsea baby. Most of your guests probably aren’t as weird as you.

You should have a decent menu for your guests that’s edible, namely, one that has meat. And you should have a typical mainstream wedding cake. You have the food staff that Bubba and Mrs. Bubba are paying for make you a special dinner and dessert that fit your, AHEM, special (strange) needs.

The way you’re doing it, Chelsea……you’re just wrong. You consider your 3 bazillion guests first, not yourself.

And are the NO CHELSEA restrictions lifted?

They are?

Really?

Good.

And Chelsea……..

You’re really not that hot, either.

  1. So don't even begin to talk to me about proper decorum or civility...

Sir, two wrongs make a right? That's all you've got? The "hateful left" has
done it to me, so I can do it to them? What, are we five years old here?

And, there is NO hateful "left", or hateful "right", just hate and spite. No
    excuses, period.

So spare me the categories. I said "Grow up" with the same vim and vigor
to you as those "liberal" bloggers (like the link dave provided) who also use
unsavory ways to get their point across.
  2. Ahh, the warm, fuzzy left strikes again.

    BTW concerned citizen, you write:

"Imagine if someone talked that way about YOUR daughter after her wedding."

The fact is, the hateful left has already sent me several despicable e-mails and made similar comments on other blogs about my baby daughter, wife, and deceased mother.

So don't even begin to talk to me about proper decorum or civility.

dave53132, if that's your idea of insightful blogging, from some profanity laced cowardly anonymous bozo, I feel sorry for you.
  3. It's a good thing she didn't invite you, Mr Culinary... you'd have been the only
    one worried about the menu.

    Here's a better follow-up: http://tinyurl.com/2ctlxcu
  4. Here's a follow-up from the Wall Street Journal:

  5. You call this journalism??? Seriously, Kevin, grow up.

Yes, the media over-reported Chelsea's wedding. Did you have the same
feelings when Jenna Bush got married when reporters spent considerable
    time with that "story".

Ironic how you are reporting a "not a big deal, let's get over it, there's more
important things to report on other than 'Bubba's daughter' " story, albeit in a
spiteful, classless tone. Obviously, you do care.

Imagine if someone talked that way about YOUR daughter after her wedding.
You are a public figure, after all. No big deal, right? Guess again. I'm sure
you would put your pen to work if that situation happened.

    Like I said, grow up!
  6. Yeah, and your wife is a real knockout too!

    Woof, woof.
