In the first half of the year, 44 state legislatures passed 191 laws and adopted 128 resolutions relating to immigrants and refugees, with governors vetoing five of the bills. This was a 21 percent increase in enacted laws and resolutions from the same time period in 2009.”
There is a minority of Americans celebrating this ruling in support of illegal immigrants breaking our laws the second they step foot on our soil. Sharing their warped joy are many liberal Democrats now in power. I’d be real careful about flaunting how happy they are about today’s decision.
The American people are mighty angry with those running our country these days, and it isn’t the GOP. Go ahead, liberals in DC. Do cartwheels. Break open the champagne. Tell honest, decent, law-abiding taxpaying Americans how cool it is that we will do nothing to stop the illegals from pouring over the borders to cash in on all our great subsidized social services. Please put out those press releases praising the federal judge and the Obama-led Justice Department that fought one of our very own states. See how that works for ya come November.
