Greg Kowalski is no election handicapper

Franklin
blogger and aldermanic candidate Greg Kowalski wrote yesterday about his picks in today’s Franklin elections. His very first sentence raised my eyebrows:

“Every election year I've done my best to pick out those candidates who I believe will do their best in ensuring that the community will benefit from their service the most.”

He needs to try harder, much, much harder.

During the April 2008 elections, Kowalski supported ultra liberal state Senator Lena Taylor against Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker. That would be the same Lena Taylor who is fighting to destroy the city of Franklin’s successful anti-sex offender ordinances.

Let’s refresh your memory. Here’s how Lena Taylor fared in Franklin in that April 2008 election.

Kowalksi also supported the Franklin school referenda a few years ago. Let's check out those results:

The controversial $78.17 million two-question Franklin School District referendum sank at the polls April 3.

The referendum was set up so that to pass both questions required a majority of school district voters to say "yes." By a wide margin, voters said "no" to both questions.

Thanks, but no thanks, Greg.
