This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

It's InterCHANGE Friday night

Here are the topics the panel discusses on InterCHANGE Friday night on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10 at 6:30 with a repeat broadcast Sunday morning at 11:00:

1 – Obama Health Care.

It looks like the House vote on heath care could come this weekend?  Will it pass?  If it does, will you regard President Obama as a master tactician and politician?  If it doesn’t, will this be a huge loss for him?  Will the Democrats who vote for this be voted out of office?  Isn’t it odd that one of the largest and most historical changes in the structure of the social safety net, is still being changed and priced literally hours before it is voted on?

2 – Milwaukee County Board Pension.

Some Milwaukee County unions have already agreed to cuts in their pension benefits, and the proposal is looming for the other unions.  Yet, County Board Supervisors voted Thursday not to cut their own pensions in the same way.  Ridiculous?  Or, just standing up to Scott Walker?

3 – Basketball.

We’ll either talk NCAA or Milwaukee Bucks.
