This stunning news comes as we await sentencing for Anthony Stancl. The former
Stancl faces up to 30 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision when released from prison. As we know, there’s no guarantee what a sentencing judge will do. A tough sentence must be handed down against Stancl, not only because of what he did to so many victims, but because a strong message needs to be sent to today’s teens who feel invulnerable that sexting is a crime. Get caught and you will be dealt with severely.

True, parents can’t be there 24/7, but they are culpable to some degree simply because they are the parents of these little fools.
And yes, there is something parents can do to prevent their children from heading down this sleazy path. How about yanking the cell phones away for starters. What the hell is a prepubescent girl doing with a cell phone that has texting (sexting) capabilities anyway?
