Congress' Newest Budget Buster

CFPA Will Increase Deficit by $4.5 Billion

We already know that Congress' flawed bill to create a new Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA) will create massive bureaucracy and onerous new regulations for American employers.

But now we're learning that the bill also is a budget buster. According to The Hill:

A wide-ranging House bill to crack down on Wall Street and revamp the nation's financial markets will increase the nation's deficit by $4.5 billion over the next decade, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

The more we know about this bill, the worse it becomes -- and the House is set to vote on it by this Friday.

Click here to email Congress now and tell them to oppose this costly bill.

In addition to being a direct threat to our country's job creators, the CFPA will heap huge debt on future generations of Americans.

We've already added more than $9 trillion to the budget this year -- don't let Congress add even more.

Click here to email Congress before this week's vote.

If the CFPA passes -- every American taxpayer will be left footing the bill.

Sincerely,

Bill Miller
Senior Vice President and National Political Director
U.S. Chamber of Commerce
