TO SPEAK AT

SHEBOYGAN TEA PARTY SEPTEMBER 5TH

(Sheboygan) - The man who convinced colonial America to fight one revolution in 1776 is back in modern America to urge a Second American Revolution at the Sheboygan Tea Party Rally at Fountain Park on the corner of Erie and 8th Street from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on September 5, 2009.

Historian, author and award-winning actor/director, Dr. Bob Basso, portrays the man whose pamphlet, Common Sense, outlined the simple and powerful arguments that stunned the world and propelled the greatest burst of freedom in history, the birth of America. Like so many Americans angry and fed up with a government that has allowed the corrosion of our values and traditions while being strangled by political correctness, Basso looked for a way to contribute to taking back his country.

Having portrayed Paine over a thousand times during the 1976 Bi-centennial celebration, he asked, "What would the man who first called us The United States of America say if he looked around America today?" He gave those blunt and direct answers in a series of passionate presentations that kicked off an immediate fire storm of controversy that brought a record-setting eight million hits on YouTube. Paine, who is non-political, calls for a Second American Revolution to bring back common sense and respect for our founding principles.

One New York blogger wrote, "Thomas Paine hit a red hot nerve in modern America and has aroused a new grass roots movement spreading from coast to coast and beyond including Bagdad and Afghanistan where the military stand and cheer his admonitions to fight the enemy within."

Foxnews host, Glenn Beck saw the videos and said, ‘This man has hit the nail on the head for a majority of Americans' and featured him several times on his show. The "Forgotten Founding Father" had been overwhelmed with requests assisting a whole new birth of grass roots movements exhorting the silent majority be silent no more lest we lose our country. His latest set of YouTube fire and brimstone has him addressing President Obama directly in a no holds barred in-your-face encounter.
