Franklin superintendent one of the highest compensated in the state

Franklin Superintendent Steve Patz is the 4th highest compensated public school administrator in the state of Wisconsin.

Franklin School District Business Manager Jim Milzer (who likes to stand up at meetings and say the Franklin schools don’t have enough money because the big, bad state won’t give us enough so taxes have to go up 5.6% and then they really go up almost 12%) isn’t far behind.

I believe this is worth mentioning because I fear the Franklin School Board will approve a large school property tax increase later this year.

As I wrote last year,
do not cry for any school superintendent.
