Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.
UPDATE: Your tax dollars at work
Michael Rosen, the head of the teacher’s union at immensely taxpayer-subsidized MATC sent out the following e-mail today to MATC employees about a rally to held Wednesday at the school for Barack Obama. Rosen openly invites taxpayer-funded faculty to interrupt taxpayer-funded classes to engage in political activity. Here’s Rosen’s e-mail:
We have just learned that Congresswoman Gwen Moore will join Governor Jim Doyle at tomorrow's Vote for Change rally.
The rally will be held in the C auditorium at MATC's downtown campus.
Doors open at 11:00 am and the speeches will begin at 11:45 am.
Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes.
Following the speeches Congresswoman Moore will lead a march to Milwaukee's Municipal Building where city of Milwaukee participants will be able to early vote.

Given the interest in Governor Doyle's speech on Wednesday, October 29 at 11:45 am, we are trying to determine whether the C auditorium is large enough.
Please let me know if you plan on attending, are bringing a class and if so how many students are in the class.

Rosen is an economics instructor at MATC and is supporting a Socialist candidate who will impose huge tax increases along with annual spending increases reported at $293 billion. Boy, those must be some whiz-bang economics courses he’s teaching.
