Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. Do you love your country? Give the government more money
It may not be the most ridiculous comment made during this Presidential campaign, but it’s in the top two. Democrat Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden says it’s patriotic to pay higher taxes.
That might be the best and only way for Democrats to display patriotism.
Biden might as well come out and say that he and Obama want to raise taxes. They’re sure as hell going to if elected. And Biden is playing the same, tired, old class warfare, suggesting the wealthy need to pay more when in reality the top 50% are paying 95% of the taxes with the wealthy paying the most.
I recall 1984 when another Democrat made an incredibly stupid comment on taxes. We all know what happened to him.
