America's disabled veterans thank you

Go here to help a disabled hero

Go here to help a disabled hero Thank you from the bottom of my heart to our patriotic supporters of our severely disabled veterans this Fourth of July. Our 2014 Fourth of July Emergency Aid Drive was a success, thanks to the generosity of Coalition friends like you.

I'm so grateful for our kind supporters -- and so are the severely wounded troops you help. You showed you're a loyal friend who can be counted on to help our heroes in their darkest days -- at a time when even their own government is failing them.

I couldn't miss the opportunity to share a few of the emotional thank you notes we have received from grateful veterans whose lives were changed by the generosity of patriotic Americans like you.

"Words cannot express the gratitude and thankfulness I have towards the financial assistance the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes has provided. I have a lot of pride and it took me many months to work up the courage to ask for help. I am just at a point right now where I could no longer do it all on my own. Thank you." (Marine serviceman Christian W.)

"I'm not a person of many words, but I must tell this organization and its donors, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My life after the military has been the darkest time in my life and I'm still struggling with my condition and trying to survive. You guys can't even imagine how much you have helped and how much this means to vets like me." (Disabled veteran Avilus H.)

"Thank you again for all of your help that you have given my family. We are in a good place right now thanks to all your help. You were the light at the end of the tunnel for me. You made me feel like a person not a burden." (Disabled veteran Tim W.)

I hope you're as moved as I am to read those touching words and know what a critical difference your friendship and support are making in the lives of our wounded warriors who are struggling just to keep the lights on and a roof over their heads.

Together we sent our wounded heroes a special Fourth of July thank you.

And if you gave a gift, I wanted to make sure to thank you for your sacrifice as well. I realize times aren't easy for many of us. So I'm especially touched by those willing to do whatever it takes to support those most deserving of our help, our support, and our gratitude.

Your faithful support enables the Coalition to do what we do, and ultimately makes the critical difference in the lives of wounded veterans and their spouses and children.

I'm so proud to have you for a friend as you stand with the Coalition and America's disabled heroes.

With gratitude,

David W. Walker
