Here are interesting articles from the past week that are worth a read:
ObamaCare and My Mother's Cancer Medicine
“The news was dumbfounding. She used to have a policy that covered the drug that kept her alive. Now she's on her own.”
America and the Aggressive Left
"Half the country feels—and is—beset by government. That's not progress. The constant mischief of the progressive left is hurting the nation's morale. There are few areas of national life left in which they are not busy, and few in which they're not making it worse. There are always more regulations, fees and fiats, always more cultural pressure and insistence."
5 Reasons Christian Businesses Shouldn't Be Legally Forced To Support Gay Weddings

Ted Nugent Apologized -- When Will Spike Lee?
"No apology from Lee for accusing Bush of mass murder?"
A force more powerful than Oscar
"How can we ensure that our young people are being influenced positively through media? The answer is simple: Watch; comment; pray and invite; and fight."
Oscar Voter Reveals Brutally Honest Ballot
“One cranky member of the Academy's directors branch talks through his picks: 'Gravity'? I've seen better things at planetariums,’ while Julia Roberts ‘was horrendous’ and Meryl Streep gave ‘a bottom-drawer performance’ in ‘August: Osage County’."
Surviving a Conference Call
"The conference call is one of the most familiar rituals of office life—and one of the most hated. Abuses are rife. People on the line interrupt others, zone out or multitask, forgetting to hit 'mute' while talking to kids or slurping drinks."
Social Media Is Making You Stupid
"It’s not just that all those hours clicking crops in Farmville and the like simply represents time that could be spent, say, reading a book and actually learning something. The greater problem seems to be the human tendency to copy others."
