A few questions about honesty for state Assembly candidate Stephanie Mares

When it comes to politics, I’m not as astute as say, my husband. I’ll ready admit that.

But I do know this. I’m also as sharp as or more so than the next guy or gal. I’m conservative, and when I’m unsure on an issue, I’m not afraid to ask questions or seek out answers.

And when I say I’ve learned from Kevin, it has come when I least expected. Like when I thought I was doing the expedient thing by erasing a robo call from a  Democrat candidate. Kevin quickly intervened ordering me not to. He wanted to hear the message first to see what propaganda was being pushed.

So when we returned from our family Disney trip, I didn’t get rid of any political phone messages. When the mail came today, I didn’t toss any political brochure, even though Kevin and I both support Shari Hanneman in Tuesday’s GOP state Assembly primary.

Kevin has reminded me to dig deep beyond whatever any political message I might get hit with. I thought about that advice when I saw the various brochures for Tuesday’s state Assembly election. Even though I support Shari Hanneman, I was particularly interested in what the other female in the race had to say, Stephanie Mares in a flyer sent by the American Federation of for Children Action Fund.

GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER NEEDS ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE LEADER IN MADISON…

It led me to believe that since the two separate photos were juxtaposed one next to the other that Governor Walker was supporting Mares when he does not. Throughout the entire brochure, there’s no mention of any endorsement, or any permission to use the Governor’s photo.

And so, a few simple questions for Mares:

NewsBusted - 11/27/13

I realize I don’t do a lot of political blogs.  But anyone who reads Ms. Elaine Kneeous knows that I’m a God-loving, flag-waving, Constitution-reading, tax-hating Conservative.  I also like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor which is why NewsBusted always cracks me up.  So, I stole it from Kevin’s Week-ends and am posting it on MY blog from now on.  You can watch for it regularly on Tuesdays.  Thanks for checking in!
