Thanks to Better Homes & Gardens magazine, I decided to give this tasty-sounding treat a whirl. Their feature bragged about easy, last-minute cookies. So how could I resist trying them? I’m so glad I did! Everyone who sampled this one really enjoyed it, and Kevin’s coworkers even asked for the recipe.
Vanilla-Allspice Thumbprints are indeed easy and do freeze well. But I did not find them to be a quick bake. According to the directions provided, they should be done in 9 minutes. My batches took 14 to 15 minutes despite my oven being temperature-accurate. So just make note that they could take you longer.
The simple spicy-sweet flavors of these thumbprints lend themselves to many great beverage pairings that can be found here.
