Here in Franklin we’re very proud of our strong battle we waged against sexual predators resulting in restrictive ordinances that faced a constitutional challenge and survived.
We understand, maybe more than most in Wisconsin that the fight against these evil-doers never ends. Thus, you take proper precautions.
The case unraveling in Cleveland this week with one horrific example after another demonstrates Franklin was a community with incredible foresight.
In Cleveland, 19 Action News reporter Scott Taylor says he received a copy of a letter written in 2004 and found by police inside Ariel Castro's house. Taylor posted excerpts of the letter on his Twitter page late Wednesday night, including a confession that Castro was 'a sexual predator' and 'I need help.'
Franklin was proactive to protect itself against the Ariel Castro’s of the world. Franklin was right.
