Ms. Elaine Kneeous

Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful young daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. Follow her blog of all things miscellaneous including but not limited to cooking and baking, entertaining and party planning, being a mommy, and homekeeping.

I can barely SPELL "football" but...

On my Facebook page my profile picture is:

My cover photo is:

South Bend Santa made a stop at our house this year and we wore these on Christmas Day to Kevin’s cousin’s house.  (Oh, did I mention his cousin is an alum?  He went bonkers over them!)

Obviously we’re not soaking up the sun & fun in Miami (like our lucky, aforementioned cousin) for this momentous occasion.  But the Fischer household will be full of spirit tonight!  Kyla will be cheering “Go, Irish!” with her blue pom poms in hand.  Kevin will be glued to the TV of course.  I’ll be serving some special treats with these paper items:

And yes, champagne is chilling in the fridge.

For a girl who wouldn’t know a football if it hit her in the head, I am quite the Notre Dame fan.  It’s impossible not to be in our house:  Kevin’s Irish heritage; our Catholic faith; Kevin’s love of college football in general; the incredible history of Notre Dame University and of course their amazing season that was…

I know that Kyla is a decade-and-a-half away from attending college.  Still, it’s never too early to think about these things.  That’s why I whole-heartedly support her shaking those poms during every game.  You just never know where it could lead:
