Goodnight everyone, and let loose this Christmas weekend!

Nostalgia

“Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won't make it 'white'."
Bing Crosby

It's Friday night. Time to unwind with our regular Friday night feature on This Just In.

The weekend has finally arrived.

The sun has set.

The evening sky has erupted.

Let's put controversy and provocative blogs aside for the rest of this work week and smooth our way into Saturday and Sunday.

During our Friday night musical get togethers, because many of us have experienced a fast-paced, relentless, hectic week, we relax with some soothing evening music.

On rare occasions, we succumb to the temptation to let loose. Such is the case this week as we focus again on sounds of the season.

Like their predecessors, the contemporary version of the Glenn Miller Orchestra can blow the roof off.

Their take on a children’s classic is a one-of-a-kind.

Speaking of big bands, if you can find this CD, Jennifer and I recommend because it’s in our collection. Here are a few clips from Pete Jacobs and his Orchestra’s Christmas album.

Time to swing.

The recent passing of Andy Williams once again demonstrates how few of the legendary crooners and great male vocalists are left.

What a great combo this is.

Next…

Wow.

LeAnn Rimes, and some of her friends.
