I have not yet seen the news media report on the adoption of the budget and tax levy for Franklin Public School District. I thought I would do so to keep you in the loop.
On Wednesday, October 24, 2012 a revised 2012-13 FPS Budget and Levy were adopted by the Franklin Board of Education by a vote of 5-2 (Yes/Larson, Traylor, Klein, Witkowski, Nielson; No/Evans, Schlueter).
The total tax levy increase is 1.1% or $351,324. You may recall the proposed increase on Draft #1 of the Budget had beeen 3.5%.
You will find the Final 2012-2013 Franklin Public Schools Budget and Budget Draft #1 here.
