AFP-Wisconsin: Obama’s Failing Agenda Tour Meeting
President Obama Head on in Madison

Madison—President Barack Obama is bringing his campaign to Madison Thursday, and Americans for
Prosperity-Wisconsin will be there to meet the president face-to-face in order to bring our message
directly to him about the dangers of his failing agenda.

To help educate citizens, Americans for Prosperity is bringing their national “Obama’s Failing Agenda”
bus tour to Madison Thursday during the president’s visit.

“The president is coming to Wisconsin touting a failing agenda that his friends in Washington like
Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin have forced on the American people,” said AFP-Wisconsin State
Director Luke Hilgemann. “The result of this agenda has stifled growth, sent jobs overseas, and saddled
future generations with skyrocketing debt.”

Promises of hope and change have resulted in $500 billion in new taxes, four straight years of trillion
dollar deficits, $16 trillion in debt and 23 million Americans in the unemployment line.

Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin has promoted a pro-growth agenda in Wisconsin that has
resulted in record-low tax rates, thousands of new jobs, and a projected budget surplus in the Dairy State.

"In Wisconsin, we’ve already seen what happens when you make the tough decisions and embrace bold,
economically free reforms,” said Hilgemann. “We look forward to sharing our Wisconsin success
story with the president.”

AFP President Tim Phillips, AFP-Wisconsin State Director Luke Hilgemann and other grassroots
activists will be on hand to talk about the president’s failing agenda and promote common sense, free
market principles that have helped grow Wisconsin’s economy and get our state back on track.

Event details will be announced later this week.

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is a nationwide organization of citizen-leaders committed to
advancing every individual’s right to economic freedom and opportunity. AFP believes reducing
the size and intrusiveness of government is the best way to promote individual productivity and
prosperity for all Americans. For more information, visit
