This Just In ...
Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

1. To speak or write of education, at all levels, without mentioning the intelligence of students, is to propagate nonsense.
2. Cats vomit, politicians promise.
3. Fascism, Nazism, and Communism illustrate what people are capable of when they reject God. And yet the story of the tens of millions slaughtered in the previous century in search of an earthly utopia seems lost on secularists and leftists all across the globe.
4. Bankers differ from loan sharks primarily in the class of people they fleece.
5. "Social justice" means income redistribution. Ironically, it is often espoused by people who denounce greed and are wealthy themselves.
6. "Open to change" is a warning sign of intolerance ahead.
7. The more smug the leftist the more credulous and repressive.
8. The Weakland, Corapi, Hanssen principle: Some utterly rotten people must pay for their sins in this world as well as the next.
9. Generosity can minimize many personal failings-- a generosity that is personal and disconnected to tax evasion and the mere expenditure of public funds.
10. Contemporary political pronouncements by national conventions of scholars, always predictable, well illustrate the fallacy that much schooling leads to objectivity and wisdom.
11. One looks in vain to find historical evidence concluding that large-scale deficit spending by a central government leads to national public prosperity.

13. The use of "C.E." and "B.C.E." in dating the past is shorthand for "anti-Christian bigots at work."
14. Self-deprecation is very rarely sincere.
15. To become (or remain) invisible in our time, say simply "I don't do tech toys."
16. As a Christian, who may I refuse to forgive? The answer is unequivocal: e.g. Matthew 18:21-35, and Sirach 27:30-28:7. The effort to forgive, however, often requires much grace from God. Especially during self-examination.
17. Critical thinking can rarely be taught to undergraduates because, at its best, it is based on broad and deep knowledge. Critical thinking and doubt are not synonyms.
18. Is Affirmative Action racist? Of course it is, both by definition and in practice. Ironically, its principal champions are those who blame racism for much of the world's problems.
19.The greatest tragedy of modern history is the establishment of empiricism and rationalism as the sole standards of truth. Very few who profess this meaningless and depressing view of life live by its principles.
