Forget about going after smokers

Smoking is bad for you.

Very bad.

Uncle Sam says so.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued some new warning labels for cigarettes to inform consumers how bad smoking is.

In typical federal government style, this is a total waste of money.

The consumer has already purchased the pack of cigarettes. Does anyone seriously believe that the smoker will see the label…

And subsequently toss the cigarettes in the trash?

I love this argument. We need more education to inform about the dangers of smoking.

What a crock! Who above the age of 5 doesn’t fully understand that smoking is terribly unhealthy?

EVERYONE KNOWS SMOKING IS AWFUL AND WIPES YEARS OFF YOUR LIFE EXPECTANCY!

And yet, many people choose to smoke anyway.

Is smoking bad for you, yes or no?

You should have answered that question in less than a fraction of a second.

We should stop wasting government funding on anti-smoking programs, public service announcements, commercials, and cigarette warning labels.

Why not fund a full-blown public awareness campaign or two that are truly worth it?

2) LEAVING A PET ALONE IN A LOCKED HOT CAR CAN KILL THAT PET!
