More updates from Franklin alderman Kristen Wilhelm

NOTE: Franklin alderman Kristen Wilhelm has e-mailed me her latest updates. I will print an edited version that contains only the portion that relates to city of Franklin business or the community of Franklin. I have edited portions that do not meet these requirements, as is my prerogative as the proprietor of my blog.

I am not obligated to promulgate Alderman Wilhelm’s liberal causes put forth in her newsletters. If she wants to do that, I suggest she get her own blog. I won’t be her liberal spokesperson.

I would appreciate, from my alderman, a newsletter about how she, as a member of the Finance Committee is proposing cuts to the mayor’s proposed  budget that will get the budget closer to 0% increase budget. I have heard or seen nothing from her, par for the course, which is why she needs to go next April along with Steve Taylor. Neither is a friend to the taxpayer.

Here are the Franklin-related excerpts from Alderman Wilhelm’s newsletter I am happy to pass along:

I received an e-newsletter from Senator Herb Kohl stating the following: " The Navy has announced its intent to accelerate plans to buy Littoral Combat Ships, including ten ships to be built by Marinette Marine over the next five years. This will get these valuable ships to our sailors faster, and bring 5,000 jobs to Wisconsin".

Don't forget to support our local businesses.
