State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. The Wisconsin Council on Children and Families invited students from across the state in grades KG through eight write letters to Scott Walker and Tom Barrett. One student wanted “laptops instead of desktops.” Another wrote that the candidates should encourage people to adopt babies, even if they have medical problems. Feeding the homeless was mentioned.
